Draft genome of Bacillus sp. strain T2.9-1. enasubBac202303-2/8

The aim of this project is to study the genetic information of Bacillus sp. strain T2.9-1 isolated from the deep subsurface of the Iberian Pyrite Belt (Huelva, Spain) in strict anaerobic conditions. It was isolated from a rock core obtained at 266.3 mbs (meters below surface), during the Iberian Pyrite Belt Subsurface Life Detection project (IPBSL). It was isolated from a methanogenic enrichment culture in a H2:CO2 (80:20) atmosphere.

本项目旨在研究从西班牙韦尔瓦省伊比利亚黄铁矿带深部地下环境中、严格厌氧条件下分离得到的芽孢杆菌属（Bacillus sp.）菌株T2.9-1的遗传信息。该菌株是在伊比利亚黄铁矿带地下生命探测项目（IPBSL）期间，从地下266.3米处（meters below surface，简称mbs）获取的岩芯中分离得到的，其分离自体积比为80:20的H₂与CO₂气相氛围下的产甲烷富集培养物。
