Zinc finger protein 251 deficiency impairs glucose metabolism through adipocyte hypertrophy

To investigate glucose intolerance and white adipocyte hypertrophy shown in ZFP251 knockout (KO) mice, We performed gene expression profiling analysis using data obtained from the RNA-seq of epididymal white adipose tissue (eWAT). Overall design: We performed RNA-seq from ZFP251 KO and its littermate wild-type mice to understand ZFP251 function in eWAT.

为探究ZFP251基因敲除（knockout, KO）小鼠所呈现的葡萄糖耐受不良与白色脂肪细胞肥大表型，我们利用附睾白色脂肪组织（epididymal white adipose tissue, eWAT）的RNA测序（RNA-seq）数据开展了基因表达谱分析。本研究整体实验设计为：为阐明ZFP251在附睾白色脂肪组织中的功能，我们分别对ZFP251基因敲除小鼠及其同窝野生型小鼠进行了RNA测序。
