LED NDVI measured at Council site of Alaska in 2016

A vegetation index NDVI was measured during growing season at the Council site, 70-miles northeast from the Nome, Alaska. The sensor was developed by Seoul National University (Prof. Young-Ryul Ryu) and provided for in-situ installation. The sensor is composed of one pair of upward/downward looking LEDs to obtain reflectivity in each bandwidth. We can calculate NDVI (normalized difference vegetation index) using this sensor to monitor vegetation activity. To monitor high-temporal variation of vegetaion activity at permafrost region, west Alaska.
