Why Working from Home Will Stick

COVID-19 drove a mass social experiment in working from home (WFH). We survey more than 30,000 Americans over multiple waves to investigate whether WFH will stick, and why. Our data say that 20 percent of full workdays will be supplied from home after the pandemic ends, compared with just 5 percent新冠疫情（COVID-19）催生了一场规模宏大的居家办公（Work From Home, WFH）社会实验。本研究通过多轮调研覆盖3万余名美国民众，旨在探究疫情结束后居家办公模式是否会持续留存，以及其留存的动因。本研究的调研数据显示，疫情结束后，全美将有20%的全工作日通过居家办公完成，而疫情前该比例仅为5%。
