The data were created to map re-apportioned representation of the citizens of New Jersey in the United States House of Representatives, following the 2020 decennial census. These districts apply to the election of U.S. Representatives from New Jersey beginning in 2022 with the election of the 118th Congress. This revised version of the data was created in order to overlay properly with high-quality vector framework GIS data published by the State of New Jersey.
