Childhood acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) is the commonest childhood cancer, which has been referred to as a pre-obese state with the onset of new obesity, occurring early on in treatment and persisting into survivorship. Therefore, this study was for the evaluation of the different patterns of microbiome and microbial function using shallow shotgun metagenomic sequencing between ALL and control.
