Data generated for the manuscript "Selecting optimal substrates for ocean-based cultivation of the red seaweed Asparagopsis taxiformis (Rhodophyta, Bonnemaisoniales)". Data is in Excel format. Tab 1: Germling density at five days post-seeding of substrates. Tab 2: Germling cover (% of substrate) six weeks after seeding substrates. Data was collected both before and after the flume test. Tab 3: Germling lengths after the flume test, according to substrate type and binder application.
