Effects of Hair Shaving on the Bacterial Flora in Pubic Region. human skin metagenome

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect shaving on human skin microbiome in the pubic region. Data were collected from 7 healthy women ranging from 24 to 32 years of age. Bacteria were collected from the skin surface (9 cm2) above the vaginal mucosa.
