Leech, Lecturer in Civil Engineering of the Department of Civil Engineering, University of Sydney, relating to experiments conducted to determine the capacity of the proposed spillway for the Katoomba No.3 Dam. By arrangement with the Metropolitan Water Sewerage and Drainage Board, the experiments were carried out at the Experimental Station, Manly Dam. The Report comprises sections on experimental layout, weir crest lengths, theory, scale effect, experimental results, the discharge curves for prototype weir.
