Dataset for: CGF Induces ROS-Mediated Metabolic Reprogramming and Mitochondrial Dysfunction to Suppress Colorectal Cancer Progression

Colorectal cancer ranks among the most lethal malignancies worldwide, highlighting the urgent need for innovative therapeutic strategies. Natural products have emerged as promising anticancer agents due to their biological activities and favorable safety profiles. Here, the anti-tumor effects and molecular mechanisms of Cya-Gly-Fer (CGF), a natural compound derived from purple sweet potato, are systematically characterized for the first time. CGF significantly inhibits proliferation, migration, and invasion of CRC cell lines in a dose-dependent manner. Integrated transcriptomics and metabolomics reveal that CGF broadly rewires CRC metabolic circuits. This dataset contains the untargeted metabolomics data supporting these findings.
