Data Collected in 1959 by English Research Vessels at Serial and Surface Hydrographic Stations (NODC Accession 6900852)

The present volume contains data collected in 1959 by English research vessels at serial and surface hydrographic stations. The data list are preceded by a number of track charts as well as surface charts and vertical stations. In the track charts all stations worked have been plotted; serial stations are indicated by a dot, surface stations by a circle. The surface charts show the distribution of temperature and or salinity at the surface of the sea for a number of cruises. Also, the vertical sections show the distribution of temperature and salinity.

本数据集收录了1959年英国科研考察船在序列水文观测站与表层水文观测站采集的观测数据。数据集列表前附有若干航迹图、表层水文图以及垂直观测站位资料。航迹图中标注了全部已开展的观测站位：序列观测站以圆点标示，表层观测站以圆圈标示。表层水文图展示了多航次下的海表温度与（或）盐度分布特征。此外，垂直剖面数据展示了海水温度与盐度的垂直分布情况。
