New protein families with hendecad coiled coils in the proteome of life

This repository contains the cluster map (which includes sequences and groups) and structural models used for our paper, in which we describe a number of new hendecad coiled-coil families in the proteome of life. The cluster map provides a visualization of the sequence relationships of these sequences and can be opened with CLANS (https://www.eb.tuebingen.mpg.de/protein-evolution/software/clans). The structure models were predicted with AlphaFold and can be opened with a PDB viewer, such as PyMol. We also include a FASTA file with all the sequences from the cluster map.

本仓库包含为本研究论文所用的聚类图谱（cluster map，涵盖序列与分组信息）以及结构模型，本论文报道了生命蛋白质组中多个全新的十一重卷曲螺旋（hendecad coiled-coil）家族。该聚类图谱可直观呈现这些序列的序列关联关系，可通过CLANS软件（https://www.eb.tuebingen.mpg.de/protein-evolution/software/clans）打开查看。本研究的结构模型均由AlphaFold预测生成，可通过PyMol等PDB查看器（PDB viewer）打开。本仓库同时附带包含该聚类图谱中所有序列的FASTA格式文件。
