Canopy volumes (m²) for Macrolobium acaciifolium trees with and without colonies of Pseudomyrmex ants. The height and width of each tree and the surface volume calculated, treating the canopy as a half-sphere (which it closely resembles). From this number of fruits per m2 calculated for plants with and without Pseudomyrmex ant colonies (see other files in data set)

本数据集记录了有、无伪黑蚁属（Pseudomyrmex）蚁群的尖叶大荚木（Macrolobium acaciifolium）的冠层体积（单位：m²）。研究通过将树冠视为与其形态高度吻合的半球体，测算每株供试树木的树高、冠幅及冠层体积。基于上述测算数据，本数据集进一步计算了有、无伪黑蚁属蚁群的植株每平方米的果实数量（详见数据集内其他文件）。
