China has collected and preserved the catalog of maize germplasm resources as well as data and information regarding their characteristic evaluation and identification. The dataset covers basic descriptive profiles, agronomic traits, quality characteristics, stress resistance, disease and pest resistance, and other related aspects. It supports the conservation and sustainable utilization of crop genetic diversity, provides high-quality germplasm information for agricultural production and scientific research, and supplies decision-making reference information for government departments.
