Within the framework of objectification theory, this study explores same-sex objectification in three heterosexual interpersonal contexts—Strangers, Colleagues, and Friends—within a Chinese cultural setting. It examines how perpetrator type, comment valence, and comment type influence self-objectification and enjoyment of sexualization, comparing reactions between men and women. Using a randomized design, 202 heterosexual females and 193 males were exposed to objectifying comments from same-sex individuals in these scenarios. Participants completed two questionnaires: the Self-objectification Questionnaire and the Enjoyment of Sexualization Scale.
本研究立足于客体化理论(objectification theory)框架,在中国文化语境下,针对陌生人、同事、朋友三种异性恋人际情境中的同性客体化现象展开探究。本研究考察了侵犯者类型、评论效价与评论类型对自我客体化及性化愉悦感的影响,并对比了男性与女性的反应差异。研究采用随机化实验设计,招募202名异性恋女性与193名异性恋男性,让其在上述情境中接收来自同性个体的客体化评论。参与者随后完成两份问卷:自我客体化量表(Self-objectification Questionnaire)与性化愉悦感量表(Enjoyment of Sexualization Scale)。
