Replication Data for: The Logic of Ambitious Legislators in Fluid Party Systems

Two different legislator databases from Ecuador: 1) a public records dataset of every legislator who earned re-election from 1979 to 2021; and 2) the Parliamentary Elites in Latin America (PELA) surveys of all legislators from 1994-2017. Both sources distinguish between switchers and non-switchers. Additional .csv files used to produce Sankey diagrams used in publication. We include the script we used for the graphics and regression analysis.

本数据集涵盖两份厄瓜多尔立法者数据库：其一为1979年至2021年期间所有成功连任的立法者公开记录数据集；其二为1994年至2017年面向全体立法者开展的《拉丁美洲议会精英》（Parliamentary Elites in Latin America, PELA）调研数据集。两类数据源均对「转换者（switchers）」与「非转换者（non-switchers）」进行了区分。此外，本数据集还附带了用于制作正式发表成果中桑基图（Sankey diagrams）的额外CSV文件，以及用于图表绘制与回归分析的代码脚本。
