Additional file 1: Table S1. List of genes whose expression increases S. cerevisiae tolerance to formic acid based on the screening of the EUROSCARF deletion mutant collection (the elimination of the indicated genes increases yeast susceptibility to formic acid). The severity of growth inhibition is indicated by “+” or “++” and the level was attributed according to the criteria described in Additional file 3.
