The use of continuous lighting is an increasingly common practice in teleost aquaculture to enhance somatic growth and delay the onset of puberty, however the molecular interplays of circadian disruption response that allows the growth and survival in fish are not well understood. The aim of this work is to generate De novo transcriptome assembly and differential gene expression analysis also is the first approach to understand these phenomena at metabolic level in the atherinopsid fish Menidia estor under continuous illumination
