Tillering in wheat directly effects yield by controlling the number of heads that are possible per plant, affecting the major yield component spikes per unit land area. In this study, we are doing positional cloning of tin3 in T. monococcum using the mutmap approach utilizing T. monococcum reference assembly.
小麦分蘖(tillering)通过调控单株潜在穗数直接影响籽粒产量,而单位面积穗数亦是核心产量构成因子之一。本研究以一粒小麦(T. monococcum)为材料,依托其自身的参考基因组组装(reference assembly),采用MutMap技术(MutMap)对该物种中的tin3基因开展图位克隆(positional cloning)研究。
