Telegraph Cove Precise Point Positioning - Float Deployed 2022-03-22

The Precise Point Positioning Float AR 22 was deployed on 2022-03-22 at Telegraph Cove. Telegraph Cove is situated in a sheltered inlet at the northern end of Johnstone Strait, across from the Broughton Archipelago, on the northern coast of Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada. This device is a Precise Point Positioning - Float. These precise point positioning processors are modules as part of an aggregate systems for the Earthquake Early Warning (EEW) installations. Within these processors, specially designed filters are applied to Global Navigation Satellite System and accelerometer input data. The processors output supports epicentre location and magnitude estimates for the larger earthquake detection system. This category corresponds to the floating point ambiguity resolution (AR) stream.
