SRHR Illiterate adolescents Datasets

In Rwanda, as of 2021, the percentage of illiterate adolescents among adolescents aged between 15-24 was 13%. Despite the high rate of illiteracy among adolescents and the unique challenges they face when accessing health services, there is no single study that has looked at their access and utilization of sexual and reproductive health services in Rwanda. Moreover, the global and regional literature on the accessibility and availability of adolescent sexual and reproductive health overlooks adolescents who are illiterate, a particularly high-risk group. Therefore, we used multiple approaches to understand how illiterate adolescents access sexual and reproductive health services to inform policies to consider the unique challenges this particular group faces.

截至2021年，卢旺达15至24岁青少年群体中，文盲青少年占比达13%。尽管该群体青少年文盲率偏高，且在获取医疗卫生服务时面临诸多独特挑战，但目前卢旺达尚未有针对该群体性与生殖健康（Sexual and Reproductive Health）服务的获取与利用情况开展的专项研究。此外，全球及区域层面关于青少年性与生殖健康服务可及性与可获得性的相关文献，均忽视了文盲青少年这一特定高风险群体。为此，本研究采用多种研究方法，探究文盲青少年获取性与生殖健康服务的具体路径，以期为制定兼顾该群体独特困境的相关政策提供科学参考。
