Proteome database of Carnobacterium sp CP1

Carnobacterium spp are
Gram-positive rod-shaped lactic acid bacteria. Able to produce lactic acid from
glucose during fermentative growth, Carnobacterium spp have been found
in many environments around the world. This work reports the proteome database
of Carnobacterium sp. CP1. Parsed from the UniProt proteome file, the
proteome database comprises protein name, amino acid sequence, and number of
residues. In addition, the in-house MATLAB proteome analysis software also
calculates molecular weight of each protein and its nucleotide sequence for
inclusion into the database. Overall, the presented proteome database of Carnobacterium
sp. CP1 should find use in a variety of biotechnology applications where
understanding of the proteome complement of the species and manipulations of
genes and genetic repertoire is important.

肉杆菌属（Carnobacterium spp.）为革兰氏阳性杆状乳酸菌（Gram-positive rod-shaped lactic acid bacteria）。该类细菌可在发酵生长过程中以葡萄糖为底物合成乳酸，目前已在全球多种生境中被检出。本研究报道了肉杆菌属菌株CP1（Carnobacterium sp. CP1）的蛋白质组数据库：该数据库从通用蛋白质知识库（UniProt）蛋白质组文件中解析得到，包含蛋白质名称、氨基酸序列及残基数目；此外，自研的MATLAB蛋白质组分析软件还计算了各蛋白质的分子量及其核苷酸序列，并将其纳入该数据库。综上，本研究公开的肉杆菌属菌株CP1蛋白质组数据库，可应用于多种生物技术研究场景，在这类场景中，明确该物种的蛋白质组组成、对其基因及遗传基因库进行操作具有重要意义。
