The comorbidity network dataset in Hong Kong is primarily intended for medical and health research, and supports tasks such as disease risk prediction and readmission rate prediction. The dataset is derived from seven-year electronic medical record (EMR) data collected by the Hospital Authority of Hong Kong from January 2000 to December 31, 2006. These EMRs were gathered via the CIDAS system of XXX medical institutions in Hong Kong, covering the information of XXX patients. This network is an undirected graph consisting of XXX nodes and XXX edges. The nodes in the network represent diseases, which are coded using ICD-9-CM (International Classification of Diseases, 9th Revision, Clinical Modification) codes. The ICD-9-CM codes used in this dataset are precise to XX decimal places. The edges in the network represent the co-occurrence frequency of each pair of diseases, and we have removed comorbidity edges with a frequency lower than 10 to eliminate noise.
