Structural studies of various proteins in Uppsala

The Block Allocation Group (BAG) includes projects for protein structure-based studies at Uppsala University (UU) and the Swedish University for Agricultural Sciences (SLU, Uppsala) under the canopy of Professor Stefan D Knight (UU). A broad range of scientific topics are covered, including but not limited to antibiotics resistance, drug development aiming at new antibiotics, photosynthesis, carbohydrate synthesis and degradation, enzymology, protein evolution, transcription, chromatin remodelling, metal homeostasis, amyloid, and molecular chaperones.
