Adaptive Genetic Divergence on Dryobalanops aromatica Growing in Sumatran Tropical Peat Swamp Forests. Dryobalanops aromatica

Kapur (Dryobalanops aromatica or Dryobalanops sumatrensis), which commonly grow in sandy soils and surprisingly can also grow in peat swamp soils. Furthermore, the study aims to detect candidates of adaptive genes in D. aromatica, which is differentially growing in mineral soil and in peat swamp soil and expected to conform two ecotypes adapting in each environment.

Kapur（学名：Dryobalanops aromatica 或 Dryobalanops sumatrensis）通常生长于砂质土壤中，且令人意外的是，该物种亦可在泥炭沼泽土壤中存活。此外，本研究旨在鉴定在矿质土壤与泥炭沼泽土壤中呈现差异化生长的芳香冰片香（D. aromatica）的适应性基因候选，该物种预计可演化出适应两类生境的两种生态型。
