本数据为南极中山站至Dome A断面实测的表面雪积累率数据。雪积累率的测量采用物质平衡观测杆法,每次内陆考察时测定物质平衡杆的高度和雪密度,通过高度差和雪密度计算表面雪积累率。雪积累率是开展极地冰川学研究和冰芯科学研究的基础,同时也是诊断降水量的直接代用指标,对理解极地气候环境变化有重要意义。
本数据为中国第21次南极科学考察至36次南极科学考察期间采集的表面雪积累率观测数据,其中部分数据32次南极考察前的数据已发表(Ding et al., 2011; 2015)。

This dataset contains in-situ measured surface snow accumulation rate data along the transect from Zhongshan Station to Dome A, Antarctica. The surface snow accumulation rate is quantified using the mass balance stake method: during each inland expedition, the height of mass balance stakes and snow density are measured, and the surface snow accumulation rate is calculated based on the measured height difference and snow density. Surface snow accumulation rate serves as the fundamental basis for polar glaciology and ice core science research, as well as a direct proxy indicator for precipitation diagnosis, holding critical significance for understanding polar climatic and environmental changes.
This dataset comprises surface snow accumulation rate observation data collected during the 21st through 36th Chinese National Antarctic Research Expeditions. A portion of the data collected prior to the 32nd Chinese National Antarctic Research Expedition has been previously published (Ding et al., 2011; 2015).
