A new species of Impatiens (Sect. Impatiens, Subgen. Impatiens, Balsaminaceae) from southwestern Sichuan, China

Impatiens amphitricha, a new species of Balsaminaceae from southwest China, is described and illustrated. It closely resembles I. imbecilla, and I. baishaensis, but is distinguishable by its dwarf stature, white flower, linear auricle, and leaf blade densely puberulent on both sides. Phylogenetic analysis based on three genetic regions further supports the separation of I. amphitricha from these morphologically similar species., , # A new species of Impatiens (Sect.
