Colección Carcinológica de Yucatán

The dataset contains information on the “Colección Carcinológica de Yucatán” (federal register YUC-CC-255-11) at the Unidad Multidisciplinaria de Docencia e Investigación, Facultad de Ciencias, UNAM. This dataset represents only specimens identified to the taxonomic level of genus and species (3893 specimens) from localities at the coast, depth sea, and coral reefs at the Gulf of Mexico and Mexican Caribbean from 1976 to 2019. The specimens at the collection have been either identified or validated by professional crustacean taxonomists, providing a significant level of trust in the data. The taxonomists that participated in this process appear in the list of authors.

本数据集源自墨西哥国立自治大学（Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México，缩写UNAM）理学院多学科教学与研究单元下属的尤卡坦甲壳动物标本馆（Colección Carcinológica de Yucatán，联邦注册号：YUC-CC-255-11），收录该馆的相关馆藏信息。本数据集仅包含1976年至2019年间，采集自墨西哥湾及墨西哥加勒比海区域沿岸、不同水深海域与珊瑚礁生境的、经鉴定至属和种分类阶元的甲壳动物标本，共计3893份。馆藏标本均由专业甲壳动物分类学家完成鉴定或复核，为数据集的可信度提供了坚实支撑。参与本次标本鉴定与复核工作的分类学家均列于作者列表中。
