Latin America's Access to International Capital Markets: Good Behavior or Global Liquidity?

This paper examines Latin America's access to international capital markets from 1980 to 2005, with particular attention to the role of domestic and external factors. To capture access to international markets, we use primary gross issuance in international bond, equity, and syndicated-loan markets.

本文考察了1980年至2005年拉丁美洲接入国际资本市场的情况，重点关注国内与外部因素所发挥的作用。为衡量对国际市场的准入程度，我们采用国际债券、股票以及银团贷款（syndicated-loan）一级市场的总发行规模作为测度指标。
