Daily average of 30-minute Volumetric Water Content at NPP C-GRAV met station. Collection of soil volumetric water content data at Jornada LTER NPP sites, New Mexico, supports the environmental monitoring objectives of the Jornada LTER monitoring program that look at plant-soil water dynamics. Volumetric water content, bulk electrical conductivity, soil temperature, and bulk dielectric permittivity are measured and calculated at an automated meteorological station installed at Jornada LTER NPP C-GRAV site. The daily average at 3 soil depths is calculated from measurements made every 30 minutes at 10 cm, 20 cm, and 30 cm. This is an ONGOING dataset.

本数据集为NPP C-GRAV气象站的30分钟土壤体积含水量(Volumetric Water Content)日均值序列。采集自新墨西哥州霍纳达长期生态研究(Long-Term Ecological Research, LTER)站点NPP区域的土壤体积含水量数据,服务于霍纳达LTER监测计划的环境监测目标,该计划聚焦于植物-土壤水动力学研究。安装于霍纳达LTER NPP C-GRAV站点的自动气象站可观测并计算得到土壤体积含水量、体积电导率(bulk electrical conductivity)、土壤温度以及体积介电常数(bulk dielectric permittivity)。本数据集基于10 cm、20 cm、30 cm三个土层深度的每30分钟观测值,计算得到对应土层的日均值数据。本数据集为持续更新数据集。
