The chloroplast genome of G.yunnanensis128,114 bp in length with 34.2% overall GC content, including a large single copy (LSC) region of 84,627 bp, a small single copy (SSC) region of 17,829 bp and a pair of inverted repeats (IRs) of 25,441 bp. The cp genome contained 84 genes, including 80 protein coding genes, 30 tRNA genes, and 4 rRNA genes. The phylogenetic analysis indicated Glycyrrhiza yunnanensis L was closely related to Glycyrrhiza asymmetrica.

云南甘草(Glycyrrhiza yunnanensis)的叶绿体基因组全长128,114 bp,整体GC含量为34.2%,包含长84,627 bp的大单拷贝区(large single copy, LSC)、长17,829 bp的小单拷贝区(small single copy, SSC)以及两段长度为25,441 bp的反向重复区(inverted repeats, IRs)。该叶绿体基因组共包含84个基因,其中包括80个蛋白编码基因、30个转运RNA(tRNA)基因以及4个核糖体RNA(rRNA)基因。系统发育分析结果表明,云南甘草(Glycyrrhiza yunnanensis L.)与不对称甘草(Glycyrrhiza asymmetrica)亲缘关系紧密。
