Joint Genome Institute has sequenced the nuclear genome of Bigelowiella natans to understand the impact of secondary endosymbiosis on the plastid-containing algae. Genome was sequenced using Whole-genome shotgun method.联合基因组研究所（Joint Genome Institute）对纳氏比格威藻（Bigelowiella natans）的核基因组进行了测序，旨在阐明二次内共生（secondary endosymbiosis）对含质体藻类（plastid-containing algae）的影响。该核基因组采用全基因组鸟枪法（Whole-genome shotgun method）完成测序。
