Data from: Biogeography patterns of ciliates community from continental shelf to deep basin in northeastern South China Sea: Effects of Temporal, Spatial and Environmental Factors.
The diversity and distribution of ciliates in the northeastern South China Sea were investigated in summer and winter. The effects of spatial, temporal, and environmental factors on ciliate community were studied, and the determining mechanism of ciliate distribution from continental shelf to the deep basin were revealed.
