Metagenome of Indian lac insect

Identification of bacterial species present in different stages of the Indian lac insect, Kerria lacca (Kerr) by sequencing of V3-V4 region of 16S rRNA gene. Crawlers or neonate nymphs and female insects after fertilization are the stages used in the study.

本研究通过对16S核糖体RNA（16S rRNA）基因的V3-V4可变区进行测序，鉴定印度紫胶虫（Kerria lacca (Kerr)）不同发育阶段体内携带的细菌物种。本研究所选用的样品发育阶段包括初孵若虫（又称新生若虫）以及受精后的雌性个体。
