Validation of Ionospheric Models at Mid- and High-Latitudes: Climatological Performance of WACCM-X (SD) and TIE-GCM in foF2 (Datasets)

The paper dataset contains monthly-averaged foF2, percentage differences, and standard deviations from ionosonde data, as well as WACCM-X, WACCM-X SD, TIE-GCM, and E-CHAIM model runs at Resolute Bay, Canada, and Chilton, UK, between 1950 and 2022, and, where indicated, between 1995 and 2015. Hourly data from TIE-GCM model runs under the Heelis and Weimer configurations is also provided in both locations for the years 2009 and 2013.本论文配套数据集包含1950年至2022年期间，加拿大雷索卢特湾（Resolute Bay）与英国奇尔顿（Chilton）两个观测站点的电离层探测仪（ionosonde）观测数据所得到的月平均F2层临界频率（foF2）、百分比差值及标准差，同时涵盖WACCM-X、WACCM-X SD、TIE-GCM与E-CHAIM模型的模拟结果；其中部分数据的时间范围为1995年至2015年（如标注所示）。此外，数据集还提供了2009年与2013年期间，上述两个站点采用Heelis与Weimer两种配置方案运行的TIE-GCM模型逐时数据。
