Crowdy Bay National Park - Post-bushfire Bitou Bush Control

The National Parks Association of NSW Inc. (Mid North Coast Branch) will undertake this project with the sponsorship of Hastings Landcare Incorporated. This project will address a large scale, post-bushfire proliferation of Bitou Bush (a Weed of National Significance) on fore and hind dunes in areas already subject to primary and secondary Bitou Bush treatment under a long-term, strategically developed plan. The plan has seen holistic restoration of a coastal corridor area and the project will assist post-bushfire natural regeneration by reducing remaining Bitou Bush seed banks and the threat of re-invasion of a number of important habitats, including regenerating Littoral Rainforest.

新南威尔士州国家公园协会有限公司（中北海岸分会）将在黑斯廷斯土地保育有限公司（Hastings Landcare Incorporated）的赞助下实施本项目。本项目将针对已纳入长期战略规划、并已开展过初级与次级比托灌木（Bitou Bush）治理的区域的前、后沙丘，开展火灾后大规模滋生的该物种治理工作——比托灌木为国家重要杂草（Weed of National Significance）。该规划已完成滨海廊道区域的整体性修复，本项目将通过削减剩余比托灌木种子库、降低包括正在恢复的滨海雨林（Littoral Rainforest）在内的多个重要栖息地的再次入侵威胁，助力火灾后的自然更新。
