Skin microbiome of wildtype and stearoyl-CoA desaturase-1 (Scd1) knockout mice

16S and ITS sequencing were performed on wildtype and skin-specific stearoyl-CoA desaturase-1 knockout mice in order to study the impact of this lipogenic enzyme on the host microbiota.
