EDUCATIONAL ENLIGHTENMENT AND INTERCULTURAL COOPERATION IN CENTRAL ASIA (19TH–20TH CENTURIES)

Abstract. This article aims to provide a socio-philosophical analysis of the impact of the educational and enlightenment processes that took place in Central Asia during the nineteenth and twentieth centuries on the development of intercultural cooperation. It also seeks to substantiate the conceptual foundations of these processes, their social determinants, and their intrinsic relationship with contemporary processes of intercultural integration. The study employs the methods of historicism, systems analysis, comparative analysis, as well as civilizational and axiological approaches. These methodological frameworks make it possible to comprehensively elucidate the role of educational and intellectual advancement in societal development and in strengthening intercultural cooperation.
