Using the ONT MinION long sequencer, we can detect and precisely identify Xylella fastidiosa subspecies. Using a metagenome-assembled genome (MAG) with enough quality, phylogenetic reconstruction with SNP resolution was achieved. The MAG was placed in a clade with isolated form Georgia, USA.
本研究采用ONT MinION长读长测序仪,能够实现对苛养木杆菌(Xylella fastidiosa)亚种的检测与精准鉴定。通过构建质量合格的宏基因组组装基因组(metagenome-assembled genome, MAG),我们成功完成了具备单核苷酸多态性(single nucleotide polymorphism, SNP)分辨率的系统发育重建。该MAG与从美国佐治亚州分离得到的菌株处于同一进化枝内。
