This dataset records the statistical items including statistical unit, total forest land area, subtotal of forested land, subtotal of arbor forest land, coniferous forest, broad-leaved forest, mixed forest, bamboo forest, sparse forest land, subtotal of shrub land, state-designated shrub lands, other shrub lands, afforested land not yet stocked with trees, nursery land, non-stocked forest land, and afforestation-suitable land, which are sourced from the management zone-based distribution table of forest land area structure in the forest resource statistics of the Scenic Forest Farm of Yan'an National Forest Park, Yan'an City, Shaanxi Province.

Forest resource statistical data is of critical importance in forestry scientific research and forest resource management, covering information such as the spatial distribution, area, administrative divisions and their codes of various forest types.

Forest resource statistical data covers multiple levels including national, provincial, county-level and forest farm-level. Most of the current forest resource statistical data are derived from second-class forest survey materials or first-class forest inventory data, and serve as important statistical references for forestry production.
