Municipal parking for residents. Areas of influence

Madrid City Council owns a very wide network of public car parks for residents and mixed car parks (rotation/residents), through which it makes available to Madrid residents a total of almost ninety-nine thousand underground parking spaces. These car parks are managed, for the most part, by different companies under indirect management through the corresponding service concession contract, although sixteen of them are subject to direct management by the City Council, through the Empresa Municipal de Transportes de Madrid, S.A. The use of these spaces can be accessed by natural persons who, having a vehicle, actually reside and are registered in the area of influence established for each car park, as well as, in some specific cases, traders in the area or legal persons who have work centers in these areas of influence.马德里市议会拥有覆盖范围极广的公共停车场网络，涵盖面向居民及混合使用（轮换/居民）类停车场，总计向马德里居民提供近9.9万个地下停车位。此类停车场绝大多数由不同企业通过对应服务特许经营合同以间接管理模式运营，尽管其中16个停车场由市议会通过马德里市政交通股份有限公司（Empresa Municipal de Transportes de Madrid, S.A.）实施直接管理。上述车位的使用权限仅限拥有车辆、实际居住并登记于各停车场划定影响区域内的自然人；在部分特定情形下，区域内商户或在该影响区域内设有工作场所的法人亦可使用相关车位。
