These are the raw drone aerial images taken of the sediment area on July 30, 2019 for the Evans et al. Sawyer Mill dam removal study. Alexandra Evans, a certified FAA Part 107 remote pilot, served as the remote pilot in command for the flight mission and was accompanied by spotters.<br>A DJI Phantom 3 Professional drone was used to take the images, equipped with its original RGB camera and a polarizing filter. Please see the referenced automated flight paths for details on altitude, image overlap, etc. The flight paths were executed using the Litchi flight app.<br>These materials were made using resources from an NSF EPSCoR funded project “RII Track-2 FEC: Strengthening the scientific basis for decision-making about dams: Multi-scale, coupled-systems research on ecological, social, and economic trade-offs” (a.k.a. "Future of Dams"). Support for this project is provided by the National Science Foundation’s Research Infrastructure Improvement NSF #IIA-1539071. 本数据集为2019年7月30日针对Evans等人开展的索耶米尔大坝(Sawyer Mill)拆除研究拍摄的沉积物区域无人机航拍原始影像。本次飞行任务的主控无人机驾驶员为持有美国联邦航空管理局(Federal Aviation Administration, FAA)Part 107资质认证的Alexandra Evans,任务期间配有观察员协助。
本次影像采集采用大疆(DJI)精灵3专业版(Phantom 3 Professional)无人机,搭载原厂RGB相机与偏振滤镜。影像拍摄的飞行高度、图像重叠度等详细参数详见参考的自动化飞行航线。本次飞行航线通过Litchi飞行应用程序执行。
