Genetic models reveal cis and trans immune-regulatory activities for lincRNA-Cox2 in vivo (lungs)

Here we compare gene expression profiles between lungs taken from a Wild type mouse to lungs from a lincRNA-Cox2 knockout mouse The aim of the experiment is to determine what impact lincRNA-Cox2 has on gene expression within the lung Lungs were extracted from 4 months old wild type and lincRNA-Cox2 knockout mice after CO2 euthanasia and cervical neck dislocation, snap frozen, homogenized in liquid nitrogen and resuspended in Trizol.

本研究对比了野生型（Wild type）小鼠与lincRNA-Cox2基因敲除（lincRNA-Cox2 knockout）小鼠的肺部基因表达谱，旨在明确lincRNA-Cox2对肺部基因表达的影响。实验对象为4月龄的上述两类小鼠，经CO₂安乐死及颈椎脱臼法处死后摘取肺部组织，经快速冷冻、液氮研磨均质后重悬于Trizol试剂中。
