The datasets were collected from experimental sites in Kangutu Primary School Farm, Tharaka-Nithi County, Kenya, over two consecutive cropping seasons (one year). The study aimed to assess the effects of different soil fertility inputs on greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. Treatments studied were: inorganic fertilizer (Mf), maize residue with inorganic fertilizer (RMf), maize residue with inorganic fertilizer and goat manure (RMfM), maize residue with Tithonia diversifolia and goat manure (RTiM), and a control (CtC). Fluxes were measured weekly to biweekly using static chambers over one year. These data facilitate assessments of agricultural practices for optimizing yield and mitigating climate change impacts.
