Loss of MexEF-OprN efflux pump in Pseudomonas aeruginosa enhances bacterial virulence

Transcriptomic analysis of differential gene expression between PAO1 and PAO1 mexEFoprN deletion mutant. Significant virulence genes were deleted in the mutant background background to test their role during murine infections. The genomes of clinical isolates was also analyzed to identify the prevalence of mexEFoprN mutations.
