This dataset contains all parameters measured or determined in Burr, A., Ballot, C., Lhuissier, P., Martinerie, P., Martin, C. L., and Philip, A.: Pore morphology of polar firn around closure revealed by X-ray tomography, The Cryosphere Discuss, 2018. It contains for both Dome C and Lock In sites (Antarctic plateau) various parameters of the pores embedded in firn, and were obtained by X-ray tomography : the closed porosity ratio, connectivity index, specific surface area, surface-to-volume ratio, but also other parameters related to the pore structure. In particular, the connectivity index was used to predict the close-off depth and density.
本数据集涵盖Burr、Ballot、Lhuissier、Martinerie、Martin与Philip于2018年发表在《The Cryosphere Discuss》的论文《X射线层析成像揭示闭合阶段极地粒雪的孔隙形态》中所有实测或推导得到的参数。数据集包含南极高原的穹顶C站(Dome C)与锁点站(Lock In sites)两处采样点内嵌于极地粒雪的孔隙的多项参数,均通过X射线断层扫描(X-ray tomography)获取,具体包括闭合孔隙率(closed porosity ratio)、连通性指数(connectivity index)、比表面积(specific surface area)、表面体积比(surface-to-volume ratio),以及其他与孔隙结构相关的参数。其中连通性指数被用于预测粒雪的封闭深度(close-off depth)与密度。
