Synbiotic supplementation modulates gut microbiota, regulates beta-catenin expression and prevents weight gain in ob/ob mice with Nonalcoholic Fatty Liver Disease

The aim of this study was to examine the synbiotic supplementation in ob/ob mice. 20 animals were divided into four groups: Obese Treated (OT), Obese Control (OC), Lean Treated (LT) and Lean Control (LC). The OT and LT groups received a synbiotic in water and standard diet for 8 weeks.

本研究旨在探究合生元（synbiotic）补充剂对ob/ob小鼠的干预作用。将20只实验动物分为四组：肥胖给药组（Obese Treated, OT）、肥胖对照组（Obese Control, OC）、瘦型给药组（Lean Treated, LT）及瘦型对照组（Lean Control, LC）。其中肥胖给药组与瘦型给药组通过饮水联合标准饲料给予合生元补充剂，干预周期为8周。
