Results of "Toward Target-Driven Circular Economy Transition Pathways through Absolute Environmental Sustainability Assessment (AESA): An Application to the Plastics Sector"
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains the numerical results of the plastics case study presented in "Toward Target-Driven Circular Economy Transition Pathways through Absolute Environmental Sustainability Assessment (AESA): An Application to the Plastics Sector." The assessment covers the world divided in 12 regions over 2019-2100 and combines dynamic material flow analysis, time-explicit prospective life cycle assessment, and absolute environmental sustainability assessment in pyToCE. The archive contains five CSV files: 1. allocated_carrying_capacities_and_shares.csv: carrying capacities, allocated shares and allocation-path comparisons. 2. allocated_carrying_capacities_sobol_results.csv: Sobol sensitivity results for allocated carrying capacities. 3. mfa_results.csv: in-use plastics stocks and stock origins. 4. environmental_results.csv: environmental burdens and life cycle stage contributions. 5. asr_and_compliance_results.csv: Absolute Sustainability Ratios and compliance results. Monitoring results cover the four REMIND-SSP2 background systems available in premise 2.4.6. Target-setting results cover 18 selected CE performance combinations under REMIND-SSP2-PkBudg650 and REMIND-SSP2-NPi, with target levels reached in 2050. Delayed-transition comparisons use the same target levels reached in 2100 and cover stock totals and annual ASRs. The data distinguish annual results for the 16 EF 3.1 midpoint impact categories from cumulative climate change results over 2019-2100. A README and data dictionary document record types, fields and units. The software used to generate the results is available at: https://github.com/Ike-EDB/pyToCE.
