We have found that increased local IL17 secreted by gamma/delta T cells, T helper 17 cells and ILCs, coordinate many of traits associated to skin aging, in particular those associated to increased inflammation. Importantly, inhibition of IL17 significantly ameliorates many of the aging related changes in the skin by boosting skin regeneration.
我们发现，由γδ T细胞（gamma/delta T cells）、辅助性T细胞17（T helper 17 cells）以及固有淋巴细胞（Innate Lymphoid Cells，ILCs）分泌的局部白细胞介素17（IL17）水平升高，可调控诸多与皮肤衰老相关的特征，尤其是与炎症加剧相关的特征。尤为重要的是，抑制IL17可通过促进皮肤再生，显著改善皮肤中诸多与衰老相关的病理改变。
