We developed the microbial pathogen diagnostic methods database MicrobPad MD to provide comprehensive information about the molecular diagnostic techniques, targets, primers/probes, detection procedures and conditions, and tested diagnostic accuracies and limit of diagnosis for 314 bacterial, fungal and viral species from 61 genera.
